Join us and make a difference.This position is part of the People Services Global Equity Service Line team and has responsibility for supporting the development of the operational and service delivery strategy, process design, execution, administration and communications of the Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) global equity programs, audits and processes. This includes, but is not limited to day-to-day operational activities, building and maintaining processes, performing analysis, completing audits, executing pay-outs and granting of equity awards, managing access to third party vendor systems, solutioning for and responding to Business Unit and Tier 2 inquiries and escalations, ad-hoc requests, policy and process and regulatory required documentation, etc.This role will partner closely with Total Rewards Center of Excellence (COE) partners, People Services Capability Center teams, including Payroll, and Third-Party Vendors and other key stakeholders. The role supports the Associate Director, Global Equity Service Line Lead with translation of the COE-led design of the Total Rewards (equity) strategy into deployment plans inclusive of processes and procedures, change management, system requirements, vendor requirements and documentation and will be accountable for delivery of global equity program services.Detailed Position ResponsibilitiesDeep Subject Matter Expert (SME), on the BMS global equity program and its administration, including grant and vesting, coordinating with finance, tax, legal, and applicable vendors as required including:Through understanding of the equity components of Long-Term Incentive (LTI) Program, manage calculation and processing of long-term incentive grants, amounts, and payouts, administer accruals/payments, drive the LTI nomination process, communicate with managers on LTI programs and guidelinesEnsure the indicative demographic and tax files to be used in processing are timely and accurateMaintain the policy and procedure documentation, documentation/records of equity payouts in compliance with the defined legal and organizational requirementsGenerates on-going management and legal reports in the equity administration space as requiredCalculates pro-rata restricted stock shares for employees upon the request of HRBPs, COE, or ManagementSupport the monthly and quarterly equity, financial reconciliation processParticipates in the development of Global Equity operational standards to help to ensure harmonization in the end to end processes across total impacted processesProvide annual/cyclical configuration as needed in accordance with product IDs, grants, termination logic, international tax rates, agreements, plans, brochures, etc. and perform the necessary testing to ensure accuracy and successSupports coordination and execution of annual upgrade, design, integration and end-to-end testing of the systems for delivering the equity program(s)Supports in-depth evaluation and analysis of country proposals for new equity plans and/or changes to existing plans and assesses the implications from an operations perspectiveParticipates in the development and maintenance of the operational design for end-to-end employee life cycle processes and produces process documentation including considering local tax and other variationsResponsible for tools and procedures to run equity operations including those not supported by systemsEnsures robust controls are embedded in each process and operating as designed; support audit activities as needed and ensure compliance for all plan documents and statutory requirements related to Equity Plans and ProgramsSupports communicating change and developing and delivering training of processes as appropriateAct as point of contact for escalation and resolution of Tier 2 queries, issues as well as interpretation of policies relating to the equity program, providing knowledge capital, and collaboration to remove roadblocks for smooth operationsProvides insights to team on global/regional issues and trends with an eye for continuous improvement opportunities; monitors effectiveness of equity processes and deployment and uses data to recommend modifications to continuously improve these processes, reduce costs and improve efficiency & client satisfactionSupports and addresses contractual and operational issues and reviews and manages third party vendor partners' adherence to contracted services and Service Level Agreements through the defined vendor management governance to enable delivery of excellence in equity services; tracks incidents and maintains log of root causes, analyzes data and in collaboration with vendor, draws solutions for future mitigation, escalate as appropriateSupport the ongoing learning / development of functional expertise of the extended team delivering equity servicesBe the expert in navigating/reporting within the third party vendor system for equity; understand the integration to the other US components of benefits which include pension, savings and HSA (Healthcare Savings Account) if applicableDesired ExperienceBS, BA or graduate degree in business or a related degree required and 3-5 plus years' experience in Global Equity and Global CompensationExperience with administering Long Term Equity Incentive plans with in-depth knowledge of end-to-end global equity processes related to the lifecycle of an award and experience deploying end to end processes (Equity focus) in a global environmentDemonstrated functional knowledge of equity plans, trends, best practice, and recent changesExperience with leverage of data integrations to minimize rework and maximize integration process efficienciesThree - five years of applicable human resources service delivery experience, within operational/administrative areas such as benefits, compensation, absence management, IT, or payroll in a shared services environmentWorking knowledge and understanding of SOX controls as they relate to Equity Operations and integrations with Company financials statementsDemonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of a highly matrixed organization and the ability to work independently yet collaboratively across cross-functional, cross-organizational teams to effectively communicate ideas and influence others to ensure People Services objectives are supported and successfully deliveredExperience in working with outsourced 3rd party vendor partnersDemonstrated strong analytical abilities, attention to detail and the ability to identify and solve complex problems and challenges;
