£42,000 - £48,000 per annum (Permanent)Chester, CheshireConrad Connect is delighted to be working with one of our key clients as they look to onboard an ACA/ACCA newly qualified Financial Accountant.On offer is an opportunity to join a well-established and award winning agricultural and environmental consultancy with offices across the UK. As their new Financial Accountant, you will be joining their team based in Chester, working up to 2 days in the office, and 3 days at home.Key Responsibilities of the Financial AccountantProduction of statutory accounts for over 100 companies (mixture of small, medium, and large entities)Production of Group statutory accounts and related notesWorking closely with divisional finance teams to understand and provide appropriate audit evidence for the annual auditsWorking closely with newly acquired entities to understand and document their systems and processes/controlsIntercompany reconciliation and investigationAssist the Financial Accounting Manager with implementation and monitoring of financial policies and controls across the GroupAssist the Financial Accounting Manager and the wider group finance team with the implementation of consolidation software and other ad-hoc projectsExperience required of the Financial Accountant:ACA/ACCA newly qualifiedExtensive experience of statutory accounts preparation under FRS 102Experience of large group consolidationsA background in Audit is desirable but not essentialSalary & additional Benefits£42,000 - £48,000 depending on experienceLife assuranceA flexible benefits programme including the option to buy additional holidays, health cash plan and discounted gym membershipIf you're interested in this exciting opportunity and would like to know more about the role & company, please apply by sending your up-to-date CV through to Georgia Flynn at Conrad Connect - suitable applicants will be contacted with more details and a job description can be provided.
