Job description

Here at Kindertons, part of the Examworks family, we are looking to recruit Claims Handlers to work in our Deployment Team to deal with all things Transport.

The purpose of the role is to act as the point of contact between the Claims Teams and various Transport Depots to ensure our clients have the highest level of service with the least amount of stress. After receiving the transport request it will be your responsibility to locate a suitable vehicle / delivery slot and communicate effectively with the client ensuring all questions are answered in detail, following the process through to the movements of the clients vehicle and discussing the engineers report.

*Main Responsibilities: *

· Processing new transport requests

· Understanding set parameters whether to utilise KAM hire fleet or X-hire

· Arranging hire vehicle and agreeing with client the transport details

· Ensure maximum service levels are attained at all times

· Maximizing recovery and storage opportunities

· Identify & report any potential cost saving processes

· Maintain good relations with Depots / X-hire providers to assist in resolving issues

· Any other duties reasonably requested by Management

· Managing a high workload with ever-changing priorities

· Dealing with any transport issues the client may incur at booking out stage

· Dealing with difficult situations whilst remaining professional at all times

· Remaining positive whilst finding solutions to any issues

· Always aware of the 'bigger picture', anticipating situations and potential problems

· Constantly monitoring and identifying ways of enhancing services, processes and systems

· Working within a team to ensure all work is completed fairly and to a high standard

· Administering the sale of all salvage.

· Obtaining outstanding documents to facilitate salvage sales.

· Processing payment requests via cheque or BACs.

· Identifying additional salvage sale opportunities by making direct contact with customers, Insurers and finance companies.

· Manage and respond to correspondence from the DVLA pertaining to salvage sales.

· Provision of advice and query handling for the Claims Teams with relation to salvage sales.

· Updating computer and paper based systems to ensure records are correct.

*What we ask of you: *

· Be a strong communicator, both written and verbal.

· Good computer skills including Microsoft packages.

*Additional Information: *

Shifts - Any 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis between the hours of 7am - 7pm

Salary - £18,100
