We win when our customers win…and that drives everything we do.How You'll Help Us Connect The World:The Maintenance Technician is a key part of our North Wales team. This person will install, commission, maintain and repair a variety of Extrusion, Fibre termination Machines, associated plant and equipment to a professional standard and within prescribed times. Responsibilities for this role include:Undertake Preventive Maintenance work schedules to specified standards and procedures and maintain all relevant written records as applicable.Carry out Fault Finding and Diagnosis of machinery and equipment breakdowns, both on a mechanical and electrical basis, with a focus on providing high levels of service and response times.Undertake machinery / equipment repairs both mechanical and electrical.Maintain written records of all breakdowns and repairs allowing for analysis and compliance with ISO 9000standards.Contacting and liaising with machinery and equipment suppliers in respect of spares requirements, progress work in hand and planning of Service Engineer visits.Be available as a go-to person for operational, and machinery related requestsBe involved in continuous improvement and investment projectsRequired Qualifications:(NVQ level 3 or equivalent) experience in Maintenance Technician/Engineering field.Practical working experience in a maintenance environment using both Mechanical and Electrical skills.Experience in undertaking structural repairs, Chillers, Pumps, gearboxes, continuous manufacturing equipment, maintenance management system, alignment of machines/motors/gearboxes/pumps etc.Experience in repetitive production cells and willing to innovate and increase output with customer satisfaction and quality as the main focus.Why CommScope?It's not very often you get a chance to connect with something extraordinary.In this "always-on" world, we believe it's essential to have a genuine connection with the work you do.
