The Role

Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for someone to join their Engineering Team as a Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer.

The role will be to provide rotating equipment technical assurance and support across the whole refinery to deliver the required level of integrity, reliability and HSE Performance. You will provide guidance and coaching to all levels of the organisation across site on rotating equipment legislation, internal and external standards, industry best practice and quality practices and procedures. The role will support and/or lead major rotating equipment outage overhauls from scope definition / justification through to execution and commissioning with responsibility for safety, quality, finance and planning.

About You

Our client's ideal candidate should have a Mechanical Engineering Degree and be a Chartered Engineer (with the potential to achieve this) or have the experience that demonstrates the required technical skills and practical / theoretical knowledge to deliver the role, preferably with Incorporated engineer status.

You will have:

Significant operational rotating equipment experience in the petrochemical industry (or with a relevant Original Equipment Manufacturer) including significant commissioning experience.

A good knowledge of the range of rotating equipment found on petrochemical plants and the support processes and systems required to deliver integrity and reliability improvement.

A good understanding of maintenance, projects and inspection activities, risk management, reliability improvement and quality systems.

*

A proven track record of working within and leading multi-disciplinary teams, of communicating at all levels with internal and external stakeholders

*

A proven track record of solving complex problems on rotating equipment
