Accountancy Practice - Accounts Assistant - Hazel Grove

Your new firm
You will be joining an established and highly regarded firm of accountants, based in Hazel Grove. This firm offer a range of services to their varied client base inclusive of accounts preparation, tax and payroll and following growth they are now looking to appoint an experience Accounts Assistant to the team.

Your new role
As an accounts Assistant, you will be joining a successful team and be responsible for the preparation of bookkeeping and statutory accounts for a mixture of clients made up of sole traders, limited companies and partnerships. You will use a range of cloud based software including Xero, Quickbooks and Sage and you will undertake work from incomplete records.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role you must have had recent experience working within an accountancy practice for at least a year. You should be able to work relatively autonomously and be able to undertake bookkeeping and statutory accounts work with little supervision. This role will see you work with a range of cloud based software so exposure to these would be looked upon favourably. Qualifications aren't essential for this role but AAT qualified professionals are preferred.

What you'll get in return
In return the firm are able to offer a competitive salary of between \u00A322,000 - \u00A326,000 depending on previous experience. You will receive 23 days holiday + bank holidays and a pension. Parking is available locally and the firm also operate a flexible working policy. The role is office based however there is the ability to work from home when necessary.
