Overall purpose of role
Senior role within BX CCO responsible for strengthening the control environment for Cloud across operational risks including Technology Risk, Information Security Risk, Data Management Risk, Operational Resilience Planning, Third Party Risk Management [TPRM] and Cyber Risk themes.

Providing control business partnership services to the business which allow for targeted control focussed interventions to improve controls to ensure that cloud relevant risks are managed through the Barclays Control Framework, so that BX and our Trading Entities (BUK, BE and BBplc) are able to meet regulatory & compliance commitments.

What will you be doing?
• Providing control business partnership services to the business which allow for targeted control focussed interventions to fix and/or modify controls
• You will be preparing, reviewing or redefining key risk indicators (KRI), in translating conceptual risks to well-defined, data-driven, quantitative KRIs
• Providing assurance to ensure that key indicators are measured and Cloud relevant risk tolerances managed through the Barclays' Control Framework
• Ensuring Barclays and our Trading Entities are able to meet regulatory & compliance commitments
• Working on the design and implementation of controls improvement initiatives

• Collaborative attitude and aility to share best practice at all levels

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Familiarity with Cloud technology and definitions of NIST [IAAS/PAAS/SAAS], with ISO standards on 3rd Party Risk Management, with current financial regulations
• Experience of reviewing operational risk policy & standards, preparing gap analysis and delivering actions to complete changes

Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play.
