Reporting to the Directors you will be joining small family business.
As accounts/purchasing role, you will be implementing robust systems, controls and processes to help a business grow.

What you'll be responsible for:

Day to day management of the finance function
Assist with purchasing on goods with suppliers
Chasing order acknowledgments with suppliers
All accounts duties -purchase and sales ledger
Building robust financial processes and controls,
Overseeing financial reporting and preparing the management accounts.
Prepare quarterly vat returns
Year-end accounts /with external auditors
Balance sheet reconciliations
Cash Flow monitoring and controls
Payroll
Need to have:
A part/ qualified accountant with a strong technical knowledge, especially regarding controls and process implementation; systems implementation an advantage
Must have excellent admin skills
Sage 50 experience ideal
Experience in evaluating systems and implementing change within finance
Strong management and organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
High level of proficiency in MS Excel
Professional, pragmatic and confident within a senior role
Proven experience of presenting (verbal and written) financial information at a senior level
Excellent attention to detail, good analytical skills, and ability to analyse numbers quickly and accurately and communicate them easily to non-finance colleagues
