The brand is synonymous with quality; supplying prestigious landmarks and we are the only company to have paved every square on the Monopoly board so no doubt you will have walked on our paths, and maybe taken a selfie at one of our famous landmarks!We're now recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our site in Buxton (SK17 8EA) on a permanent days basis to undertake plant operation and engineering tasks (EWR/PPMs/Breakdowns), ensuring a proactive approach to prevent equipment failure. You will contribute to the overall safe operation of plant and equipment, safety, quality, waste and OEE targets.What's the mission?Working as part of the Operations team, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment. You'll work on various different types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic control systems and will be responsible for carrying out a range of planned and reactive engineering activities on site.Ideally, you'll be multi-skilled trained with experience in both electrical and mechanical engineering to support the site maintenance as the first point of contact.Working 42 hours per week on a 2-week shift pattern (6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm) Monday to Friday, and 1 in 4 Saturdays; you will be responsible for ensuring that all operational and engineering tasks are carried out safely whilst working to tight deadlines.What are the mission-critical skills?Good working knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineeringApprentice trained Engineer to NVQ Level 3 standard in an Engineering disciplineExperience in electrical fault finding is essentialExperience in mechanical fitting, hydraulics and pneumatics will be an advantageExperience in fabrication and welding would also be beneficialGood understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues and knowledge of regulatory requirementsExperience in mechanical fault finding, defect rectification and routine maintenance activitiesAbility to interrogate/understand maintenance problems to provide accurate plant condition information/recommendationsExcellent level of English, oral and writtenInterested and want to know more?Marshalls has invested heavily in its plant and operations equipment, with more investments planned for the future, giving you further opportunity to grow and develop your skills.
