Your new firm
I am working with an exceptional Top 100 regional firm of Chartered Accountants who are looking to recruit ACA \/ ACCA finalists or recently qualified accountants to strengthen their corporate services team as Audit Seniors or Assistant Managers. This job opportunity has arisen due to a year of growth and new business wins which has created a large pipeline of work for 2021 and beyond. The team are based in Northwich so travel to this office will be required however the firm operate a permanent hybrid working policy and there is also the opportunity to work in their other offices across Manchester & Cheshire.

Your new role
As an Audit Assistant Manager or Audit Senior you will be responsible for the delivery of a range of statutory audit assignments along with some accounts work too. Your client base will be varied and include OMBs, group structures, international businesses and UK subsidiaries of foreign owned businesses with turnovers up to 100 million. As an Audit Senior you will be responsible for planning the audit assignments, delegating and reviewing fieldwork, managing the client relationship and be involved in the completion and audit close meeting. The corporate services team also provide transactional services therefore there is the opportunity to work on a range of IPOs.

Over time you will develop your own portfolio of clients, taking on more of a managerial \/ review role and progress through to Audit Manager. As an audit senior \/ audit assistant manager you will enjoy a hybrid working arrangement splitting your time between client site, the office and working from home.

What you'll need to succeed
The Audit Partner is looking to recruit a bright and personable accountant who is ideally ACA \/ ACCA qualified or approaching qualification who is comfortable travelling to Northwich. You must have gained exposure to all aspects of the audit process and have undertaken a role where your workload has been weighted at least 40% towards audit assignments. Ideally you will be an ambitious individual who is looking to operate in a client facing role and progress their career with corporate services.

This is a Top 100 well recognised firm which prides itself on good client service therefore you must be able to demonstrate strong technical skills and good communication skills.
