The team are responsible for managing all orders and procurement queries for a specific region.As a Senior Buyer, you'll be responsible for:Taking accountability for all orders in the purchase proposal screenRaising purchase orders by ensuring they meet vendor requirements and highlighting cost-saving efficienciesWorking autonomously to process most complex vendor programmes focussing on continuous knowledge developmentDealing with complex cross-functional processesDeveloping sales training to support operational efficienciesWhat we need from youCompetence to work autonomously in specific vendor programmesSelf-motivated to improve knowledge with the ability to use what you have learnt to benefit the teamAble to multitask, set own deadlines, prioritise, and deliver against Often for projects started at your own suggestionProven ability to solve problems with an understanding of when to manage a query independentlyUnderstanding when to put other members of the team first to support their training and developmentWork in a way that works for youWe recognise that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
