About Our Client

Our client is a Not for Profit Organisation, based in Wilmslow.

Job Description

The key responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to;

Manage the team and ensuring that the team members are achieving expected standards of performance
Ensure that effective and appropriate policies and procedures are in place and implement, which meets pay and pension legal requirements
Provide appropriate advice, support, and resolution on and pay or pension related queries
Respond to enquires from employees and external stakeholders
Ensure that effective relationships with external suppliers and organisations are continue, in relation to Civil Service Pension Scheme, external payroll and staff benefits
Working alongside HR colleagues, ensuring that the HR database is managed and used by all team members
To take responsibility for pay, pensions and reward processes
For external contractors for pay, pension and benefit services are effectively monitor and managed
Lead on relevant projects relating to the department progression and development
The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate must possess the following skill set and experience;

5 years experience in Payroll / or HR position
Experience of managing and leading a team in a payroll/HR environment
Dealing with queries and resolving difficult situations in a professional manor
Experience using HR databases and sensitive data
Excellent customer service skills by ensuring third party contracts and relationships are continued
Writing and implementing policies and procedures for company development and progression
Ability to manage budgets and influence opportunities to improve and implement change
Able to prioritise and delegate workload and planning
