Job Description

The key responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to;

Ensure that all payroll, pensions, and benefits are accurately processed
To provide support and advice to staff and managers
Implementation and execution of relevant policies and procedures
Working closely with HR colleagues, to ensure all information exchanged is accurate
Checking and auditing of information exchanged with payroll, pensions, and other benefits
Implementing that pay is met and pension requirements are scheduled
Respond to queries from employees and external stakeholders
To support the Pay and Pensions Manager
Maintain accurate records, that are compliant with legislation
Maintain effective relationships with external contracts in relation of pay, pension and other benefit services
To support the team manager by contributing to the production of reports on key performance indicators
The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate must possess the following skill set and experience;

Educated to degree level of equivalent
At least 3 year's experience within the payroll function or HR
CIPD or DIPP qualification or willingness to work towards
Experience of advice and support on HR/pay policies and procedures
Experience using financial database and systems
Knowledge of relevant legislation and payroll practice
Excellent numerical skills
Excellent written / verbal communication skills
Ability to work under pressure, ranging from demanding workload and deadlines
To work effectively within a team as well as working independently

Immediate start
6 month temporary position
Hourly pay between £14.00 and £17.00
