Accountancy Practice - Wilmslow - Payroll Manager

Your new firm
You will be working within a modern and forward thinking firm who are looking to bring their outsourced Payroll function back in house. This practice have gone from strength to strength in recent years and have a strong team that deliver accounting and tax services to their robust and varied client base.

Your new role
As a Payroll Specialist at this firm, you will be required to manage a portfolio of clients made up of straight forward director only payrolls through to those with up to 100 employees. The focus of the Payroll is PAYE however there are a handful of CIS clients as well and payrolls can be run on a weekly, monthly or 4 weekly basis. You will be responsible for the end to end process at the firm and although support is available this is a stand alone position.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role you must have had experience working within an accountancy firm previously for at least 3 years. The ability to work to deadlines and targets is naturally essential and you should be able to manage your own workload and be able to prioritise clients in a timely manner. You should have excellent communication skills and be open to new processes.
