A well-established, global business is looking for a Service Engineer to join their service centre team in Cheshire. In return as the new Service Engineer, you will receive a starting annual salary of up to £25,000 + some overtime when required.

As the Service Engineer you will…

Review products returned for repair and overhaul and undertake cleaning and repainting of products as needed
Attend client sites with senior engineers or the Service Manager when required
Work to ensure customer orders are completed to the highest standard
Ensure you are fully compliant with all aspects of your responsibilities, including Health & Safety
Be involved in receiving and offloading goods, and packing of goods for transport
Help to maintain cleanliness of the factory/workshop in accordance with LEAN practices
The successful Service Engineer candidate…

Time served or holds an HNC in Engineering or equivalent
Will have some engineering experience or has achieved relevant training qualifications, including basic electrical training
Is a proven team player from a manufacturing environment
Will preferably have worked in spray painting and grit blasting of metal products
Can work on their own initiative
Is a confident and effective communicator with both team members and customers
Is willing to travel both in the UK and occasional overseas if required and work away from home for short periods
Has a can do, will do attitude - essential!
