*Bank Outpatients Nurse | Competitive Hourly Rate | Abergele Clinic*
We have an exciting opportunity for an Outpatients Nurse to join our Temporary Staffing Bank. This role will support our Outpatients Team at our in clinic in Abergele. This is a zero hours contract with shifts available Monday-Friday 4.30pm â€" 8.30pm.
Spire Abergele Consulting Rooms is an outreach clinic that offers patients fast access to leading medical experts. Our highly experienced consultants cover a wide range of specialties including cosmetic surgery, general surgery, orthopaedics, neurology, sports injury and psychotherapy. The clinic is situated on the North Wales Business Park on the outskirts of Abergele and is easily accessible from the A55.
*Duties and responsibilities;*

* Chaperone and assist Consultants during examination of the patient's and minor surgical procedures and assists in arranging investigations requested by Consultants
* Carry out Wound Care and Suture removals
* Carry out any other duties delegated by the OPD Manager / team leader for the proper and efficient care of the patient's and the smooth running of the department
* Complete Outpatient documentation to a high standard
* Carry out individualised nursing care and procedures to the highest standards complying with hospital policies and procedures at all times
* Maintain and provide patients with relevant and accessible written information regarding their procedures / treatments

*Who we're looking for;*

* Current NMC registration
* Competence across a range of nursing skills
* Excellent time management skills and ability to use your own initiative
* ECG and Phlebotomy trained would be desirable but not essential
* Ideally have experience of working in outpatient or a surgical environment
