Summary

I am currently recruiting a Community Psychiatric Nurse to work within an NHS Community Mental Health Team supporting people living in the community with moderate to serious Mental Health problems in Cumbria.

Shifts: Monday to Friday

Contract Length: 6 Months+

Hours: Full Time

Pay : £26-£27ph (Ltd) depending on banding and experience.

Mileage: 0.45p per mile for business mileage

Location: South Cumbria

Community Mental Health Team's provide support for people aged 16 to 65, with severe and enduring mental health problems and complex needs, who present significant levels of risk to themselves or others.

This includes people with severe and complex: Symptoms of depression, anxiety, Psychological difficulties, including personality disorder and Psycho-social needs

The Team is a multi-disciplinary service made up of managers, community mental health nurses, mental health social workers (some qualified as AMHPs), occupational therapists, community support workers, admin support, secondary care psychological therapies and Consultant Psychiatrists who work with the team.

The service is made up of five key functions: Assessment, care coordination, Treatment, Reviews and Wellness and recovery support.

The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting you to develop a care plan to meet your needs, following a comprehensive assessment. They will also be responsible for regularly reviewing the care plan and supporting you to prepare for discharge from the service, as and when appropriate.

The successful applicant must be a Qualified Mental Health Nurse currently registered with the NMC and have recent experience working within Mental Health Services.
