Temporary Planning Administrator - 3 to 6 month assignment, immediate start.

Your new company
Our client is based in Penrith within the public sector and looking for a temporary, full-time
Planning & Building Control Administrator to join their team. You will be reporting to the Planning Services Manager under a hybrid working pattern, so travel to Penrith will be essential.

Your new role
Our client is looking for someone with excellent administrative skills, strong IT skills and work well within a team. Some local government experience would be beneficial but not essential.
You will be responsible for:
- Implementing policies, aligning with the organisations vision and priorities.
- Process applications and legislation's, ensuring they are actioned in a timely fashion to meet tight deadlines.
- Answer queries via telephone and email, relaying detailed messages internally and externally.
- File management and update records, status', payments ect.
- Accurately input data on computer systems.
- Manage and prioritise independent workloads.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you will need to be immediately available in Penrith or surrounding areas, have 12 months recent experience in an administrative position, excellent IT skills, be an adaptable fast learner, who is well organised with strong written and verbal communication skills.

What you'll get in return
Full-time, 37 hours Per week, Monday to Friday.
Temporary position - 3 to 6 months, could be extended based on performance

Flexible hybrid working pattern
