Warehouse Team Leader

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Team Leader to join the team within our Devon Community Equipment Service Centre based in Exeter. This role will be responsible for the overall daily management of our warehouse and it's functions as well as the team of Warehouse Operatives.

As a healthcare equipment provider, Millbrook Healthcare work in partnership with the NHS to supply the necessary equipment and aids to support people in their day to day life. Our community equipment ranges from simple walking frames and crutches to more complex equipment such as beds, hoists and pressure care equipment. We also carry out minor adaptations such as the installation of handrails and grab rails within the home which can make a significant impact in giving people the confidence to live more independently.

About the role:

Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork to ensure KPI targets are met or exceeded
Drive upskilling and development opportunities across the warehouse team
Ensure all mandatory training is completed by colleagues
Responsible for ensuring stock is correctly issued, received and maintained
Support stock checks, making any adjustments and any variances as required
Ensure the warehouse is compliant with health & safety regulations and policies, carrying out daily warehouse walks and spot checks
Supervise the repair area to ensure efficiency, logging of all repairs correctly and output levels are maintained
Supervise the decontamination team ensuring all items from previous day have been processed in accordance with Millbrook procedures and records updated
Ensure that regular daily spot checks are conducted on picking, put back to shelf accuracy and quality of repair
1 in 2 Saturday working rota

What are we looking for?

Previous Team Leader/Supervisory experience within a warehousing environment is required
Demonstrable ability of leading a team
Strong experience of stock control
Work scheduling and planning skills
Excellent communication skills to interact with internal staff, prescribers and service users
Good level of administration and customer service skills
Resourceful and motivated to succeed
Full UK Driving Licence is essential

£21,320 per annum
Monday to Friday 8am-5pm & 11am-8pm (rotating shift pattern)
