Tender Manager

Job description

We have a new and exciting opportunity available for an experienced Tender Manager to join Briggs Marine on a full-time permanent basis, the position will require production of high-quality written work to support bids for marine opportunities. There will be a requirement to work to tight deadlines and liaise with senior staff across the business.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintain an overview of existing and developing markets for tender opportunities for all departments
* Manage the bid process, including commercial aspects
* Compile bids, liaising with technical experts for relevant input
* Ensure timely completion and submission of bids
* Create and facilitate post-tender presentations
* Coordinate clarification responses and meetings
* Identify and develop key supply chain partners for tender opportunities and new business opportunities through management of procurement portals
* Maintain tender related documentation and ensure admin tasks are completed
* Maintain annual update of supplier platforms and accreditations
* Ensure company presence on supply chain registers for existing and future clients
You will be a key team player and be confident in your own ability to hit the ground running in a fast paced environment involving several projects, a sound business knowledge as well as excellent written communication skills are essential as well as good time management and prioritisation skills.
This role can be based in flexible locations and offers hybrid working
