WORKING CARERS LEAD

37.5 hours per week, Fixed Term Contract until March 2024, £28,000 p.a

A brilliant opportunity to join a purposeful charity, delivering key projects to improve the lives of unpaid carers. This role has been created due to funding received from the Carers Trust for the sole purpose of supporting unpaid carers in the workplace. The individual will lead on this key project to increase the reach to working carers in Gloucestershire.

1 in 7 employees are juggling caring responsibilities and our mission is to provide access to information and guidance to ease the pressure on caring for a loved one, whilst maintaining paid employment.

Crossroads Care Gloucestershire provides support services to unpaid carers who look after a family member or friend who due to age, physical or mental illness, addiction or disability and cannot manage on their own. We are a seeking a passionate, effective, and committed individual to become part of our friendly and professional team.

Overall purpose

To take full responsibility for the management and delivery of the assigned project.
To create partnership opportunities with Gloucestershire based employers, enabling CCG to help their employee's access practical and emotional support, as well as enabling employers to introduce processes and policies to create a more supportive and caring culture in their organisation.
To be accountable for the success of meeting the funders KPI's.
