£9.92 per hour + £500 Welcome Bonus*
37.5 hours per week

Greengates is a residential service, providing nursing care and support for people with enduring mental health needs. We support our residents to maintain their skills and help them to lead a life which is meaningful to them.
The people we support are encouraged to have an input into how the home is run. There is a choice of meals each day and residents help to cook dinner once a week.
We are looking for an experienced cook to work alongside our established team and deliver a catering service for the home that is safe, healthy and nutritious, meeting the needs of individual service users, while remaining within budget.
The successful candidate will be calm, well-organised, able to plan and cook a variety of meals to suit a variety of diets and have a flexible approach which is responsive to service users' needs. You will be enthusiastic about food, have sound knowledge of nutritional needs and some experience of catering for special diets.
