Job description
We are looking for a talented Project Manager who will lead and support complex, multidisciplinary projects by implementing our multimodal approaches and interactive AI solutions into different industries. He/she will be collaborating with a team of research scientists and engineers to plan, develop and deliver successful projects.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for end-to-end project management, driving work from contract award to successful delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Design, Marketing and Business Development to conceptualise AI speech technologies and put agreed-upon ideas into project delivery
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project deliverables
- Lead and prioritise multidisciplinary projects effectively in a fast-paced and complex environment
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and optimise the utilisation of resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Define counterpart requirements for AI products, initiate projects with scope and development requirement definition
- Create and manage project timelines, dependencies and sequence
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues, track cost and performance for projects, seek solutions and implement action plans for recovery
- Meet and negotiate with customers and prospects where needed to help understand their needs and ensure efficient delivery of projects
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of B2B project management experience in AI or relevant industries
- Degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent
- Proven experience in coordinating, managing and delivering significant AI projects
- Proven experience in managing projects from conceptualisation to production
- Proven ability to influence and drive AI projects and manage project scope and budget
- Proficient knowledge and understanding of software development
- Able to take ownership and think strategically aligning with business objectives
- A self-starter with excellent quantitative, analytical and interpersonal communication skills
- A team player with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English
- Passionate about technology products
Advantageous:
- Basic knowledge of deep learning, machine learning and data science
- Knowledge and understanding of speech technologies
- PMP or other certification
- Fluent in Arabic
- Fluent in Chinese
