Job description

A well-known Investment Manager in London are seeking an Assistant Company Secretary to join them for a 12 month FTC.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of governance processes for the Corporate Secretariat team and will be involved in the delivery and implementation of governance and regulatory projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and updating the firm's Management Responsibilities Map, including engagement with key stakeholders across the business to ensure material updates are made, approved by the board and filed with the FCA in a timely manner
  • Providing corporate governance advice and support to the business, including to the secretaries of the firm's management committees to ensure that the management committees are operating effectively and in accordance with best practice from a corporate governance perspective
  • Representing the team on governance projects being undertaken at the firm and implementing changes where required
