TreeHouse School has an excellent opportunity for an aspiring Assistant Head that is passionate about making a real difference to the lives of autistic children and young people. You will promote a culture that will enable our learners to feel safe, thrive, learn and have every opportunity to excel.

We are an Ofsted 'Outstanding', award winning school for children and young people aged 3-19 with a primary diagnosis of autism, some of whom have additional disabilities. We believe that every child and young person attending TreeHouse School deserves a fulfilling, happy and rewarding life. Our person-centred educational approach ensures we focus on the individual learners requirements at all times.

We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Head that:

Has experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead or a Deputy Safeguarding Lead.

Comprehensive specialist knowledge of autism and safeguarding to be able to support families, staff colleagues and other stakeholders confidently and competently.

Ability to create and role model the culture of Safeguarding and child protection across the whole school.

Ensuring the best educational outcomes for children and young people attending our school through understanding how autism affects each learner differently and how we prepare them for adulthood.
