We are seeking an Associate Marketing Operations Manager who loves business management and has a passion for marketing. The role sits within the EMEA Commercial Marketing team, and reports into the head of the function. This is a multi-faceted, high-visibility role with frequent exposure to both the regional and global marketing leadership team. As such it requires a dynamic and motivated self-starter who loves working with different groups of people to deliver high impact initiatives.

In this role you will be a culture carrier for the team who owns and drives workstreams that enable our marketing priorities - spanning strategic initiatives and day-to day operations. You will have an entrepreneurial mindset, a passion for delivering for clients, and a deeply collaborative style of working.

Primary responsibilities:

Business planning: Scope, plan, and execute special projects, including organisational strategy, business management, budgeting, operations, technology and talent.

Strategic planning: Lead and facilitate the annual EMEA Commercial Marketing planning process and organise team planning and strategy meetings. Evaluate plans quarterly to ensure the team remains on track to complete strategic deliverables and activation plans.

Marketing operations & workflow management: Define workflows and processes for cross team ways of working and establish rules of engagement between global, regional, and local teams. Optimise operating systems to strengthen processes and implement new platforms/technologies to drive greater efficiencies at scale.

Executive Support: Co-ordinate the development of C-level presentations, and craft talking points and briefing memos for senior internal and client engagements. Manage leadership and team meetings; craft agendas, and ensure actions are delivered. Help deliver exceptional client experiences through events when required.

Culture & talent management: Define strategic resourcing requirements in partnership with the head of the function and the regional Marketing COO, and manage the day-to-day talent management process in partnership with HR, e.g. sourcing, hiring and onboarding talent, including management of the team graduate programme. Lead key talent and culture initiatives to actively support and foster a diverse and inclusive workplace aligned with BlackRock's principles, and be a champion for the firm's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity strategy. Lead initiatives that target development areas from the employee opinion survey. Be a culture carrier within the team and be responsible for running team building events and charity days.

Knowledge & Experience:

Experience: A t least 4 years work experience in a directly relevant field e.g. asset management, management consultancy, marketing.

Strategic projects : Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives that are aligned to functional priorities and have commercial impact.

Executive communication: Strong experience producing management-level quality presentations, business memos and exhibits utilizing data. Strong proficiency and demonstrated experience working in all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Process management: Efficiently manage project processes, navigate trade-offs and effectively manage own and other's time. Ideally w orked in a company that has experienced rapid growth and knows how to scale operational processes.

Project management: Excellent "end to end" project management skills with ability to drive projects from strategy to execution.

Problem solver: Critical thinker with superior problem-solving abilities who is able to organize people under pressure and pull in key decisionmakers to prioritize issues and respond to clients and senior management.

Results orientated: Performance driven with extensive attention to detail.

Communication: Exceptional communication skills (written, oral, PowerPoint creation and delivery) and personal presence, including the ability to distil and present complex concepts to multiple audiences.

Entrepreneurial: Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proven ability to manage and succeed in driving multiple projects forward simultaneously.
