Associate Professor in Economics x2
Full Time, Fixed Term -until 31st July 2023 and further funding might become available.
Salary: The salary range will be £58,404 - £63,483 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

The appointment will be on UCL Grade 9.
Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP) is a department within UCL and part of The Bartlett faculty, known internationally for its radical thinking about space, design and sustainability. The work of the UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP) is influencing global policy decisions and creating new policy collaborations to deliver public value-driven innovations. UCL's Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP) is seeking two Associate Professors in Economics and one of the post-holders will become Head of Policy.
As Head of Policy will lead the rapidly growing Policy team at IIPP, overseeing its growth and direction, the quality of its output, the management of the team and its contribution to the development of IIPP Policy portfolio. As Associate Professor, will support the growth of IIPP through conducting high quality research, teaching, outreach and policy engagement activities in the field of public policy relevant to IIPP's research agenda. Both roles will provide senior strategic leadership at IIPP.
These positions are initially until 31st March 2025 and further funding might become available.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD or substantial expertise and a track record in economics, with specialization in public economics, macroeconomic policy or similar. UCL pays a relocation supplement of £9,000 to newly appointed academic staff (lecturer through to Professor) senior administrative staff (Grades 9 and 10) who have to relocate their home to take up an appointment.
