We are looking for a passionate and committed volunteer to facilitate our Beauty Therapy Group at our Registered Care Home at Lynton Terrace in Acton to support individuals to express themselves creatively, relax and practice self-care.Main Tasks:Facilitate a weekly Beauty Therapy Group at Lynton TerraceIdentify any items needed for the beauty therapy sessionsAssist in preparing the space for beauty therapy at the serviceEncourage service users to participate in the sessions and engage them in applying makeup/practicing self-careFeedback to your Volunteer Supervisor about the sessionsFor more information about Hestia, this opportunity and our extensive benefits with volunteering at Hestia, please see our volunteers pack attached to this advert!As provided by the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) (Amendment) (Coronavirus) Regulations 2021 (the "HSC Act"), all staff/volunteers who work at or attend CQC registered care homes are required to be vaccinated against Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) with an authorised vaccine, unless otherwise exempt.Hestia is proud to be a Disability Confident employer.
