Job description

The role will be sitting in a team with industry specialist of a wider Marketing Analytics teams where the overall purpose of the role is to support the business in establishing itself as a key player in the UK motor insurance market.

The Job Role

  • Perform detailed analysis on data from across the business (relating to campaigns, digital marketing, online quote funnel, pricing, sales, good driving programme engagement, driving behaviour, renewals, claims, servicing, etc.), communicate insights, and make recommendations.
  • Building dashboards and reports (e.g. using Microsoft Power BI and Google Data Studio) using data from multiple sources.
  • Maintain and update existing reports while making sure these reports remain accurate and fit-for-purpose.
  • Create spreadsheet models which estimate the impact of new initiatives.
  • Pro-actively identify data issues and anomalies, raise these with BI teams, and drive their resolution to ensure accuracy of reports and analyses.
  • Project manage key analytics and reporting-related workstreams.
Skills Required
Essential
  • Advanced technical analytical and numerical skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of reporting tools (Power BI, Google Data Studio or other equivalent tools).
  • Advanced experience of data analysis and report building in Excel
  • Good understanding of relational database architecture and querying.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and querying using T-SQL.
  • Experience in Google Analytics.
  • Previous experience in a senior analyst or similar role.
  • Previous experience working in motor insurance or similar regulated financial services environment.
  • Familiar with Python or R
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders
