Job description

Some of the functions in the role include:

• Defining and leading the strategy for new deals (pricing, sizing, tranching, timing, marketing tools…)
• Underwriting, hedging, unwinding positions taken on the primary market, and running the daily duties attached to it (reporting of P&L, risk positions, settlement of the trades...)
• Provide the market reading and recommendation needed for any client of the platform, both internal and external
• Pitching with clients (issuers or investors) for prospect business, in coordination with Origination, Client Coverage and Sales
• Coordination with the Credit Value Chain (Origination, Trading, Sales, Research, LM) to implement the strategy of the platform, meeting the objectives, and beating the budget
• Execution of the bond mandates, representing the bank in a Syndicate Group, defending the individual views and working alongside other banks for the success of the trades
• Work as a bridge in between the Private Side and the Public Side of the business. Managing the flow of information in between Public/Private side and viceversa. Conduct wallcrossing exercises, liaising with Compliance when appropriate.

This position will require the candidate to have a valid Mifid certification. In case the candidate is not certified, they will have to obtain the pertaining certification upon the incorporation to the role.

Previous Knowledge and Experience

• 5 - 7 years of relevant experience
• Excel and Microsoft office pack
• Basic bond maths or strong mathematical background
