About the Building Control Project Manager role:
SOCOTEC Building Control is the market-leading independent provider of building control and the recognised authority on all matters regarding Building Regulations. We are looking for Building Control Project Manager to join us during our exciting period of growth and development across the country. We are particularly looking to expand our teams in Bicester, London, Leeds and Rainham and will consider home-based locations.
Client focused and quality driven, we are a leading provider of Building Control. Now we need Building Control Project Managers.
You will:
* Attend design team meetings as required
* Vet all new commissions/plans to ensure compliance with Building Regulations and associated statutory legislation
* Carry out all relevant inspections on site to ensure compliance with Building Regulations and associated statutory legislation
* Provide technical advice and guidance to clients, i.e. architects, builders, etc. on building control matters
About you:
We're looking for a professional, dynamic and motivated individuals with ability to work alone and as part of a team.
Communicative, organised, flexible and committed, you must also have:
* Membership of RICS,/CABE or equivalent
* Degree in related subject
* Be fully conversant with all relevant legislation
* Be able to communicate effectively (verbally, writing and electronically) to meet the job purpose
