Job description
This role will support the newly created Commercial Supplier Management function within Commodities & Global Markets and Macquarie Capital Technology. You will work on various aspects of the lifecycle of strategic supplier management, the teams aim is to provide value to our businesses and technology whilst working in partnership with our largest and innovative suppliers
In this role you will be involved in generating financial analysis, reports and packs. We will present insights and understanding of our relationships, contracts, footprint, internal engagement and spend with these suppliers both from a parent and subsidiary view point. You will provide market research and gather intel from our internal teams and external sources.
You will work with and have regular interaction across the Commodities & Global Markets business and technology stakeholders, group procurement, legal & finance and external suppliers.
The following skills are considered highly desirable:

Strong business analysis skills

Experience in conducting research and presenting your findings in a concise and impactful manner

A strong commercial mindset,

Excellent presentation skills - able to utilise all aspects of MS PowerPoint, MS Excel & Power BI

An understanding of financial markets and related technologies
