Job description

A top London-based Wealth Management company is looking for a permanent Business Analyst to work on projects across multiple functions of the business and IT. This role will also entail small aspects of PMO.

This role will be in a team that is responsible for the delivery and oversight of the project landscape across the UK Wealth Management business.

You will support the CMO team in the delivery of projects and to assist with the management information reporting of the project landscape. In addition, this position will provide analyst support to the wider COO team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Programme lead and Project Managers to define new initiatives
  • Lead the analysis and definition of the current and target business processes and carry out the definition and agreement of business process changes for initiatives in the client facing work
  • Specify these current and future processes and any associated requirements / user stories (business and / or technology) in conjunction with Stakeholders and senior management
  • Act as the link between project streams (such as business subject matter experts (SMEs), IT, Legal & Compliance) and project management functions, gaining a thorough understanding of the project requirements and/or issues and being able to communicate clearly between all parties clearly and effectively. Facilitate the preparation and delivery of any necessary education to end-users
  • Carry out the preparation and execution of the agreed business roll-out of changes.
  • Day-to-day activities will include the coordination of project working groups, recording and tracking of project actions, managing open risks and issues and providing necessary administrative support to project leads.
  • Preparing project plans and agreeing milestones with the project stakeholders, ensuring plans remain up to date and fit for purpose for the duration of the project.
  • Coordinate and minute working groups necessary for the project under direction from the project lead, ensuring all decisions and actions are adequately recorded and followed up.
  • Create and manage the project risks, assumptions, issues, decisions and dependencies (RAIDD) log.

Required:

  • Business Analyst / Business Analysis experience
  • Buy-side experience (Wealth Management / Asset Management)
  • Some basic PMO skills
  • Ability to liaise across multiple functions and up to stakeholders of a senior level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing.
