Business Development Manager, Fund Services Role
• Based in our London office, this Business Development Manager, Fund Services role will be responsible for working across the Group's entities based in London, Guernsey, Ireland and India to identify and win new business mandates.
• This newly created role will report directly to the Managing Partner, and work closely with Managing Directors of the Fund Services and Corporate Services business lines.
• The Vice President, Business Development will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic business development initiatives aimed at building client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, winning new work and positioning the firm as an ambitious and agile player in the fund services and corporate services sector
Business Development Manager, Fund Services Responsibilities
• The Business Development Manager, Fund Services, will b uild, maintain and leverage a dynamic external network of new business with thorough market coverage of UK/EMEA buyers of corporate and fund administration services and a creative approach to developing a sales pipeline.
• Increase sales and support the drive to exceed revenue targets across the firm.
• Maintain, and report from, excellent records of activity and lead generation activities via the firm's CRM (Dynamo); drive usage of the system across the group to create best practice reporting and analysis of sales pipelines.
• Develop a strong internal profile and relationships across the company to map and leverage networks.
• Provide guidance across the firm on best practice business development strategies, acting as go-to expert on sales and offering partnership support to Managing Directors in their own business development areas.
• Assist in managing client relationships.
• Manage the performance and development of direct reports (currently 2) and hold accountable to their achievement of business objectives.
• Present to the company's Investment Partners' board on activity and achievements on a monthly basis.
• Manage marketing and pitch materials.
• Align with and re-enforce the firm's marketing and brand identity in all activities; ensure robust knowledge of the company offering and value proposition.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, service standards, company policies and procedures
Business Development Manager, Fund Services Personal Specification
• The successful Business Development Manager, Fund Services, will have a p roven track record of revenue generation and flourishing in a professional services environment - fund services, accounting or legal sector backgrounds are of particular relevance.
• Knowledge of, and established relationships with, fund administration and corporate services business and related advisors within the UK and Europe will be beneficial.
• Experience of building and developing new relationships with a strongly commercial mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt style and approach to a wide audience.
• Ability to motivate and gain buy-in from a wide range of stakeholders.
• Focused on internal and external client needs, delivering on commitments with a sense of urgency.
• Displays intellectual integrity, commerciality and sound judgement.
