The vacancy

You'll play a key part in ensuring we continue to deliver an excellent service to our supporters and those living with Parkinson's by being the first point of in person contact for anyone that arrives at the Parkinson's UK premises. You'll signpost and respond to their needs when they attend at our office.

What you'll do

Be the first point of in-person contact for anyone that arrives at the Parkinson's UK premises and you'll signpost and respond to their needs as appropriate

Support the facilities team in dealing with day to day activities such as mailing, recording and distributing equipment to remote based workers

Coordinate team or theme team meetings, circulate agendas and make meeting notes

Provide support with financial administration tasks such as checking expense claims, raising purchase orders, process incoming invoices and responding to requests as needed

Support leads across the Planning and Transformation Directorates with coordination and scheduling of meetings

Support with back office administration

What you'll bring

Experience in a customer facing role

Confidence in meeting and greeting people in a office environment

Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to deal with internal and external stakeholders

Excellent administration skills, including data input, preparing schedules and coordination of meetings

Experience of developing and maintaining effective working relationships with senior stakeholders

Experience of operating in a modern digital workplace, including using digital tools to work collaboratively and productively

Experience of being able to work unsupervised under own initiative and prioritising workload

Ability to work collaboratively

Maintain a professional appearance and work area
