Chief of Staff, reporting to the Group CEO; Peter Jackson
An individual contributor role
Accountable for the completion of high-level activities directly for the CEO on key programs and will actively participate in the planning, implementation and reporting on activities associated with these initiatives
Opportunity to play a key part in delivering the opportunities that come from increased complexity, geographic reach and scale through a transformation lens
Requires a combination of focus and flexibility as well as a willingness to play an active operational and strategic role, balancing strategic responsibilities with operational ad hoc projects.
Location: Dublin or London
Responsibilities
Support the CEO in defining, implementing and reporting on various strategic and transformation initiatives
Proactively partnering with the CEO to identify and provide detailed and thorough analysis regarding the People functions opportunities and recommendations on actions to be taken
Responsible for the completion of ad hoc operational activities such as: preparing of presentations to Exco and other external audiences, and preparation for critical meetings and business reviews
Lead the integration priorities so that cross-divisional and cross-functional programmes deliver the goals of the shared services, location and overarching business strategies
Govern the planning activities associated with operational reviews and board meetings
Collaborate cross-functionally to support the success of projects and key initiatives
Responsible for planning leadership events, coordinating financial planning activities, and preparing the CEO for external meetings
Provide, oversight and guidance to the CEO as required
Key Attributes
Key Requirements
Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments, with a background in consulting or similar
Commercial and / or operational experience in a global, digital context
Excellent communicator in written and verbal form
Effective, versatile and action-oriented with strong stakeholder management skills
Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives
Experience of creating multi-faceted, multi-year strategies that contribute to commercial performance
Summary
