The candidate must have excellent verbal and writing skills in this roleWorking with Product, Architecture and Development teams to create and understand high-level WxC Calling product roadmap items and requirementsResearch and determine potential technical solutions to meet the requirementsDevelop project plans and schedules to complete the developmentExecute test plans and complete testing for the proof of concept and final solution designProduce detailed requirements documents for internal and external consumptionProduce documentation to assist internal support organizations and customers in understanding and using new features and servicesProvide support to resolve issues that may be escalated by support organizations into the Engineering groupDocument and update plan of records for hardware and software platforms managed by the WxC EVS Engineering teamDevelop and maintain relationships with 3rd party equipment vendorsKeep abreast of all relevant vendor developments and establish strategies to proactively evolve the network and remain technologically currentKeep abreast of all relevant industry standards and be able to apply these standards as necessaryDevelop automation tools to enhance the engineering maintenance efficiency Who You Will Work WithOur team works with both internal Engineering organizations other departments that work directly with the Engineering organization. You will also directly interface with 3rd party vendors relaying product requirements and specifications.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDThe WxC Calling Integration Engineer must be experienced in SIP, and VoIP using high level requirements to determine a technical solution that meets or exceed those requirements.Knowlege of voice network architecture design and implementation principles.5+ years of SIP and VoIP Telecommunications experience.Bachelor of Science in Electrical, or Computer Engineering Sciences (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.Experience or knowledge of VoIP protocols for signalling a media (SIP/SDP/RTP) are crucialExperience or knowledge of the encryption protocols TLS and SRTExperience or knowledge of session border controllersNetworking protocols, including L2 Ethernet switching and TCP/IP.Experience or knowledge of engineering, operating and solving VoIP networks and associated componentsKnowledge of voice network architecture design and implementation principlesOutstanding written and oral communication skills with the ability to adapt from executive to employee messagingYou have the ability to use critical thinking and logic to take high level requirements and resolve appropriate steps and develop a process for turning those requirements into a product or service offering for our customersAbility to work and collaborate as part of a team with varied strengths of engineersExperience with other VOIP platforms would be an advantage if not familiar with webex calling directly, platform training would be provided.EOS is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
