Job description

Our client, a renowned music agency, is seeking a Client Accountant based in the Finance department.

Key responsibilities will include:

Using Sage 200 to maintain and reconcile artist accounts.
Communicating with agents, assistants, and artist teams.
Raising weekly statements for artists.
Making payments to artists.

Performing Credit Control for specific shows under agents oversight.
Recharging artists for expenses.
Raising commission invoices on a weekly basis.
Ensuring accurate recoding of multi-currency transactions.
Managing monthly report of artist account balances, and the same of agent overseeing commissions.

Assisting with cashbook and bank reconciliation on Sage 200.
Allocating payments on CRM.
Providing cover for colleague when on annual leave, and other ad hoc duties.
Requirements:

Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Ideally accounts experience in music\/media in a similar role.

Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, and experience with Outlook.
Experience using Sage 200.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organised and motivated.
Attention to detail.
Able to work in a team or independently.
