Job description

I am partnered with an industry-leading CRO who have conducted over 500 Early Phase Studies, delivering exceptional customer service, and exceeding the expectations of their sponsors. They have significant experience in running a range of patient trials, adding value to the studies by incorporating detailed analysis of the cardiovascular effects of drugs.

We are looking for NHS Doctors who are wishing to make the transition across to industry, and my client offers a rewarding progression pathway. A Medical Doctor is required to come in and screen volunteers/patients for 1st in Human Clinical Trials. This is a hands-on position, with responsibilities including regulatory processes, Medical Writing, Managing Doctor Rotations, and Medical Monitoring.

This opportunity is a great way to grow your career and utilize your medical education as a Doctor, within the pharmaceutical industry.

This opportunity allows you to get your foot into the door in the industry when transferring from NHS.

You will have a whole team surrounding you to support you, who are like-minded medical professionals - but it is a patient facing role to a degree.

In this position, you will be working under the Medical Director, who has 10+ years of experience.

What my client can offer you:

* Enrollment onto additional PMST (specialist pharma) courses

* Full cycle exposure to the development process within industry

* Multiple therapy areas and indication exposure, so a wide variety of experience

* Access to regulatory authorities, audits, abstracts etc.

* Exposure to multiple other phases of development

* Platform to industry in a transparent, friendly environment where you will be adding value to studies

Requirements:

* GMC registered

* Got your Medical Degree in Europe

* Completed FY1 and FY2 in the UK

* Able to relocate/commute to London

Following your application Mollie Laurens-Chalmers, a specialist Executive Pharmaceutical Researcher, will discuss the opportunity with you in detail. The conversation can also progress further to discussing other opportunities, which are also available right now or will be imminently becoming available on the Executive Search or Medical Team here at Barrington James.

This position has been highly popular, and it is likely that it will close prematurely. We recommend applying as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
