Commercial Partnerships Manager Engineering

35-40k + commission

London (flexible working)

Our client is seeking a driven;
strategic;
and innovative new business generator to come on board and suggest;
develop;
and implement products to suit customer needs, driving revenue and engaging stakeholders.

events;
and conferences. In finding a Commercial Partnerships Manager, they want a candidate comfortable cross-portfolio between Consumer and Business & Professional, who is able to work on multiple platforms.

The successful candidate will offer a consultative approach, demonstrating an intimate understanding of client requirements before pitching, and proposing relevant high-value solutions that aid clients in raising awareness;
generating leads;
positioning as thought leaders;
researching the market;
and networking with new and existing customers.

Key responsibilities include:

Take commercial responsibility for account management of advertisers\/partners within the portfolio;

External revenue reports (written and verbal) to the client, and internal reports for the Commercial Partnership Director and Executive Directors;

Develop and implement annual sales strategies for each client within their portfolio, including setting annual targets and reforecasting where necessary;

Development of innovative, commercially sound ideas, working directly with the client to implement new initiatives;

Advanced knowledge of advertising industry and trends;

Liaising with Client Engagement team, Production and Finance teams as required;

Working closely with editorial teams to ensure the content delivered on all channels has commercial appeal, as well as value to the audience;

Use understanding of multiple accounts to inform innovation and efficiency across all accounts;

Attendance at key industry events;

Management and development of sales team within their portfolio;

Whilst we will have an Ad Ops executive, you retain ultimate responsibility for all adverts in magazines going to press and live on digital channels, from your portfolio.

The successful candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills, a hunger to learn, train, and drive success;
an entrepreneurial mindset;
and good organisational skills.

Five years media sales experience is essential, along with a proven background in new business;
product development;
and creative solutions.
