Completion Lead - Stations SSP and Routeway
Purpose of the Job
To support the Completion Function on completion matters in particular on Employer's Completion Process (ECP) which will demonstrate that the company has exercised due diligence prior to acceptance of Central Section Works.
Principal Accountabilities
To support management of the Employers Completion Process (ECP) on review, update, co-ordination and consistent implementation on Central Section Works contracts.
To proactively liaise with site teams and relevant Functional Leads and/or their team in order to ensure timely close out of the Employer's Completion Process.
To arrange and lead, where required, meetings with site teams and relevant Functional Leads during the Employer's Completion Process sign off period.
To maintain and regularly monitor trackers and schedules supporting management of the Employer's Completion Process.
To ensure consistency in the use of quality procedures for contract completions, sectional completions and key dates defined as completion across Central Section Works contracts.
To liaise closely with the Certification Team in order to ensure that self-certification of Contractors' works continually keeps pace with production so as not to impede works completion.
To liaise closely with the Handover Team to ensure jointly that the concerns of Infrastructure Managers are adequately addressed.
To review quality reports, Key Performance Indicators, etc. as appropriate.

Main challenges of the job
• To ensure that the Delivery teams are focussed on completion matters and remain aware of the requirements needed to complete the works and achieve NEC contract completion
• To support management of the completion process which ensures that all functional and industry partners define their requirements and accept against these prior to completion of all works contracts.
Person Specification
• Preferably educated to degree level in civil engineering (or similar)
• Working knowledge of construction, engineering, procurement, and other project-related activities, including their interfaces and interdependencies.
• Sound knowledge of railway industry requirements and construction standards.
• Sound understanding of NEC contract.
• Ability to plan, organize, lead and monitor a wide variety of team efforts to their successful conclusion.
• Computer literacy to include Adobe Acrobat Professional, Full MS Office suite with advanced skills in excel and word.
• The post holder must possess outstanding interpersonal skills, to effectively work with company and client representatives from a variety of cultural & ethnic backgrounds displaying a confident, polite and professional demeanour
