Calling all Content Designers x 2 with GDS experience, 3 month contract, fully remote outside IR35

Start date - ASAP

Location - REMOTE

Rate - Negotiable pending experience - OUTSIDE IR35

Duration - 3 months +

My client is looking for 2 Content Designers with GDS experience to start on a new project due to the them growing by over 50%. They re-structured the organiation to better deliver products and services in the 21 Century. These rapid changes have led to needing to create a set of unifying standards, principles, guides and to capture and present the new and different roles across the business.

Skills needed are:

As a Content Designer you will write high quality content for client's new digital services that will encourage people to use them, taking complex language and processes and make them simple to understand - and you'll develop content in such a way that it will encourage people who rarely go online to use the new services!

As a Content Designer working to Government Digital Service standards/GDS, you will be responsible for working on the end-to-end journey of a service to help users complete their goals and deliver their policies.

Knowledge within GOV.UK and GDS on content strategy

Understand how content tagging, design patterns and structure of GOV.UK influence navigation and site search, and make recommendations for improvement
