What's the role?
As Corporations Account Manager you will play an ever-increasingly important role in the sustainability, branding and development of the Bloomberg franchise in some of the biggest Corporations in the world. We will expect you to identify growth opportunities for additional services and maximize customer retention.
You will be leading the vendor-client partnership within this hugely diverse and important client base, discussing customers' business model and technological requirements across their business lines, while monitoring how Bloomberg's solutions are integrated with customers' technology stack. Throughout your extensive interaction with our clients, you will be responsible for working directly product management teams, reviewing long-term strategy and business growth opportunities, while also identifying market trends, competitor landscape and technological improvements.
We will trust you to:
- Strategically look across your coverage to determine gaps in client's workflow to increase their usage of the terminal and marquee products
- Proactively find and monitor at-risk users to defend the Bloomberg business
- Manage usage campaigns, both self-initiated to achieve business targets and management driven initiatives
- Partner with other internal sales and account management teams to help expand our franchise
- Develop a sound understanding of Bloomberg's products, how they integrate with financial markets and have the ability to position our solutions appropriately
- Demonstrate a strong level of Bloomberg customer type knowledge, by understanding how that player type makes money, does their job, and utilizes technology
- Be able to demonstrate functionality and workflows of applicable Bloomberg solutions that improve a specific customer type's need
- Contribute innovative ideas that anticipate and address client needs
- Participate actively in new projects that drive departmental and firm-wide initiatives
- Seek out additional ways to demonstrate leadership and make an impact, such as mentoring, involvement in training, running campaigns, and active involvement in product enhancement
You'll need to have:
- Previous account management experience in the FinTech industry
- Experience on Enterprise risk solutions and Corporations.
- Consultative sales approach and experience building relationships with customers
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Exemplary presentation, training and communication skills in English
- The ability for regular travel
We'd love to see:
- Fluency in one or more European language
