Job description

Main Purpose of role:

Operating in a multi tenanted D365 environment this role will be the go to person for ensuring each instance is maintained up to date, and be the first technical support contact for any integration and EDI issues. The role also covers D365 Security and permissions.

We connect to some of our larger customers by EDI and have multiple integrations with internal systems and external partners. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth daily operation of all D365 instances and integrations using; APi's, Logic Apps and EDI messages. Our MS partner and EDI partner will be on hand to provide support for the more challenging issues.

D365 systems and integration administrator will provide the following services:

Responsible for providing day to day support for D365/Azure environments, integration and EDI including:

• Ensuring all D365 environments are maintained up to date including refreshing all route to live environments
• Apply Microsoft updates, as released, to all environments and tenants
• Support all digital integrations within IT including Logic apps, FTP, sFTP, FTPs, AS2, API and EDI. Implement and maintain an interface catalogue.
• Implementing and reviewing daily logs
• Investigating & addressing any issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure access permissions for D365 are provided appropriately and maintained as part of the JML process
• Provide support as the first point of contact for EDI and integrations for internal and external customers
• Logging support tickets with 3rd parties should escalation be necessary.
• Responsible for the implementation of new EDI Trading Partners or additional messages for existing Trading Partners which includes providing:
  • Obtaining and agreeing requirements
  • Setting up new Partner Profiles
  • Providing initial test data
  • Responsible for the testing & validation of new EDI messages and obtaining approval from stakeholders both external & internal.
• Monitor network traffic and EDI traffic in True commerce Managed Service Solution
• Set up and manage all EDI processes in D365
• Support Helpdesk as required
• Analyze and resolve errors with appropriate internal business stakeholders, our customers, their EDI providers and our support partners
• Analyze and execute change requests
• Ensure all documentation is up to date

Qualifications and experience required:

Experience in either an Application Developer role or a supporting business function

Proven experience managing D365/Azure environments and logic apps management, EDI parameters and interfaces

Working knowledge of EDI message types and formats used such as: EDIFACT/TRADACOMS/XML and ANSI

Experience of True commerce or other similar VAN provider ie GXS

Ability to develop and evaluate alternative technical solutions to best meet the needs of the business

Strong experience of integrations:

• Integration technologies including API's, Microservices, LogicApps Event-driven architecture.
• FTP, sFTP, FTPs, AS2
• Creating and maintain integration standards.
• Web service architectures (REST)
• API security.

Flexible and adaptable in regard to learning and understanding new technologies

Azure AD knowledge would be a definite plus
