Deputy Headteacher SEMH
Parker Smith Inclusion are excited to recruit a Deputy Headteacher for a school in Ealing - could this be you?
The school is well-informed on neurodiversity, emotional, sensory and physical needs, relationships and attachment. They demonstrate inclusive, strengths-based practice and the resilient development of every child is at the core of their ethos.

The school teaches primary students with SEMH needs and\/or ASC.
The school continues to have very high expectations of hard work to reach the full potential of all of their students.
About the Deputy Headteacher role
This is a competitive permanent, full-time Deputy Headteacher role, paying a salary of 500 per annum.

You will be responsible for both Teachers and Teaching Assistants.
Highlighting a select few of your Deputy Headteacher responsibilities, you will;
ensure the curriculum is delivered in a nurturing way, develop and coordinate interventions to support therapeutic learning, collate individual pupil data, provide professional guidance to teaching staff and oversee the assessment of learning needs.

As you would expect, this list is non-exhaustive, and PS Inclusion are more than happy to expand on duties if required.

Deputy Headteacher Criteria
Education and Qualifications
Qualified Primary Teacher (holds QTS or QTLS) Evidence of ongoing professional development in education Knowledge and Experience
Minimum of 5 years teaching experience post qualification and minimum of 2 years leadership experience.

The highest expectations of pupils with SEND and the staff that work with them and oneself. Recent proven experience as an outstanding primary practitioner\/teacher. Membership of SLT or additional responsibilities demonstrating the management of staff. Experience of liaising with LA SEN Teams Experience of supporting neurodiverse children or with ASC and\/or SEMH and an understanding of potential implications for communication, learning and behaviour patterns.

Demonstrable achievement in improving learning outcomes. Knowledge and awareness of Safeguarding & Child Protection Procedures.
