WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a DigitalBCG Coordinator within BCG's Deep Tech Mission you will execute and coordinate business operational support for the mission's tasks both regionally and globally. Working with Leadership, you will coordinate the mission's operational activities such as meeting organization, budgets / business reporting and marketing and communication efforts. You will also coordinate people affiliation and development activities as well as the organization and execution of internal meetings and trainings whilst acting as a point of contact for members across the BCG's Deep Tech Mission.

You will independently coordinate the plan and preparation of meetings, seeking guidance as needed, from invitation management through to agenda coordination, tracking and logistical support as well as expense and budget management. You will prepare newsletters and maintain proposals microsite. You will regularly maintain dashboards and carry out ad hoc financial reporting.

YOU'RE GOOD AT
  • Executing defined tasks independently, seeking guidance as needed

  • Acting as the mission's representative in the Deep Tech community, building your network with other coordinators and learning from best practices
  • Planning and coordinating regional and global meetings with precision and attention to detail
  • Solving problems with a forward-thinking mindset and suggesting workarounds
  • Developing judgement, starting to contribute beyond the Deep Tech, thinking analytically through alternatives

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
  • 2-4+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated independence and autonomy in internal/external interactions
  • Ability to execute defined tasks that require independent judgment, based on processes/policies
  • Ability to effectively coordinate day today work; apply working knowledge of primary function and demonstrating the ability to solve problems within own role
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think analytically, adopting out the box thinking
  • Professional, service oriented, pro-active and flexible attitude
  • Ability to perform under pressure and demonstrate presence and maturity even in stressful situations
  • Proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will coordinate closely with the Leadership team, the deep tech topic manager and other members of topic GSB team, deep tech Experts and Senior Advisors, sector/topic Managers as well as the Business Services team, alongside Practice Area Coordinators both within the practice and across others.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Practice Area Management & Operations team members keep BCG's industry and functional practice areas operating responsively and efficiently. As a member of this team, you will contribute directly to the success of our business through a number of roles, including content development, process management, marketing, meeting and conference management, and internal/external communications.
