Whether representing buyers or sellers, we offer a comprehensive financial due diligence service leading to value-related advice and hands-on support across a full spectrum of industries.About the Role:The Director will be a critical team member to help execute client engagements. S/he will be responsible for leading the client team (normally made up of a Director, a Senior Consultant and/or a Consultant), delegating tasks, handling all elements of execution and helping manage the client relationship on each assignment. The role also carries Business Development responsibilities - with a target of introducing new client prospects, attending industry events, and cross-selling other FTI services. Qualified candidates will view themselves as having superior leadership and technical skills, excellent project management and communication skills, as well as a sense of urgency and drive to help the company service its clients.Key Responsibilities:The Director will be responsible for helping clients on assigned engagements through every aspect of the deal continuum with the following overview of integrated service offerings:Financial and accounting due diligenceTax due diligence and document reviewValuation assessmentsPurchase Price disputesBackground investigationsMergers and Integrations support including tax-efficient restructuringThe Director will handle the full range of transaction advisory work including services for Buyers, Sellers, and Lenders, including (but not be limited to):Initial evaluations, scope, budgeting and resource managementDetailed due diligenceCritical decision makingStatus updates with the client deal teamReport writingFollow up communications with other transaction participantsCollateral analysisPortfolio monitoringPurchase price allocationsSEC reporting issuesThe Director may also participate, depending on level of experience and expertise, with:Transaction structuringPurchase price allocationsTransition services agreementsMerger integrationThe Director will ensure that client projects are executed in a timely fashion and that client expectations are met, if not exceeded.Education and Qualifications:2:1 degree (or equivalent) in a numeric subjectACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified (1 st time passes)This role requires travel to clients and FTI officesSkills and Competencies:Ability to work in a meritocratic structure which recognizes and rewards individual contributionExcellent report writing and analytical skillsGood knowledge of Excel and manipulation/analysis of diverse data setsSelf-starter and inquisitiveTeam playerStrong relationship management skillsStrong influencing and partnering skillsStrong communication skills both written and spokenAbility to manage time and prioritise tasks effectivelyAdditional foreign language desirable (ideally Northern European)Results orientatedStrong leadership skillsExperience:Previous experience working within a 'big four' preferredStrong track record of delivery with strong reputation as a reliable TAS specialist, able to meet clients' needs and lead TAS teamsPreferred prior relevant transaction services or restructuring experience either with corporates, private equity or creditors/banksPreference for the following industries: TMT, healthcare, business services, industrials, retail (however other industries will be considered)Knowledge of financial statementsWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation or age.#LI-CL1.
