Job description

Repifix has an opening for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our company on a permanent basis, with our head office only a stone's throw away from the Excel Centre in London.

As an experienced electrical engineer for Repifix, you will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive maintenance and repairs across a number of domestic and commercial sites, within the M25.

Your day-to-day role will consist of carrying out your role-specific to your trade skill set.

This role is largely client-facing and requires an individual with experience of working within a similar role displaying strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work independently.

This is a role that will develop into a leadership position, so a good level of experience is essential.

Duties;

*

Assisting with future recruitment and providing technical and physical support to your team.

*

Ensure all engineers within your team are performing above standards, not limited to punctuality, site etiquette, and the correct following of company processes

*

Conduct weekly meetings with the team to identify and solve any issues or concerns

*

Point of contact for any queries that may arise from your team

*

Carry out duties as requested, delivering first-class customer service to all clients.

*

Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while observing all statutory requirements.

*

Fault finding and diagnostics, providing professional assessments and solutions to remedy.

*

Liaise with head office and suppliers to source materials.

*

To issue and sign off notices and certificates required by the relevant regulations relating to NICEIC.

*

To drive company vehicles in a safe and courteous manner and to ensure that the vehicle is maintained to appropriate standards.

*

Timely submission of reports upon completion of the job.

*

Ensure all requirements are fully undertaken before commencing work.

*

Ensure all accidents, incidents, near misses, and non-conformances are immediately and fully reported.

*

Maintain good hygiene and high levels of cleanliness when on site.

*

Display a professional demeanor at all times.

*

Effective use of the PDA.

*

Observe and maintain exemplary standards of Health & Safety and environmental legislation.

Qualifications:

*

18th Edition (Essential)

*

2391-52 Testing and Inspecting ( Essential)

*

IOSH Managing Safely (Desired Not Essential)

Requirements:

*

Candidates must have a full driving license with no more than 6 points.

*

Own tools (Essential)

*

Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role (Essential)
