£25,526 - £33,476 p/a - please note successful candidates should expect to be appointed at the starting point of the salary scale and consideration may be given to a higher salary depending on the experience of the individual

This exciting opportunity is based within our Skills & Employment Team which supports young people facing adversity, we aim to tackle the critical issue of Youth unemployment amongst those who are at risk/have experience of the criminal justice system.

About this role

As an Employment Adviser you will lead a small team of caseworkers and Peer Advisors, to provide a tailored one to one high-level service of engagement, advocacy and support for the young people. In addition, the senior caseworkers will work closely with the team leader and the Skills and Employment manager to assess standards of evidence and how well the data collected evidences the effectiveness of the young people's journeys.

The aim will be to support young people to achieve engagement in sustainable education, training, employment and a positive lifestyle, as well as improvement in their mental health, wellbeing and relationships.

The project team will be working with external evaluators to assess the project's achievement and improve our ability to measure the impact of the service.

To secure this great opportunity:

Substantial experience and strong track record in successfully supporting young people into sustainable employment.
Experience of working on a target driven project, and a proven ability to organise others to reach their targets
Awareness of Matrix standards and ability to implement quality assurance measures
Have experience in collaborating with partner agencies
You will be an excellent communicator with impressive interpersonal skills
