Professional Services company, SCCM, MECM

Looking for an IT Professional with experience in supporting and administrating endpoint management technologies, Windows and Apple Mac life cycle management, incident management and resolution, the ability to work with global teams to plan, test, execute and troubleshoot on global technology initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of Microsoft Windows endpoints using Microsoft SCCM/MECM for image maintenance, patching/firmware deployments, and application deployments.
• Assist with management of Apple Mac endpoints using Jamf for OS maintenance, patching/firmware deployments, and application deployments.
• Test, validate, and deploy desktop patches and application deployments on an as needed or scheduled basis.
• Provide technical assistance with global teams where necessary.
• Assist with Windows 10 master endpoint image testing, Windows10 and Office365 master patch/update testing, and ongoing performance testing/optimization of systems with ongoing Microsoft feature updates.
  • Assist with testing and validation of Apple MacOS master deployments, master patch payloads (OEM and 3rd party)/application updates.
  • Author Knowledge Base articles as required.
  • Participates in a follow-the-Sun global support model for critical system issues and maintenance.
  • Maintains and grows job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities such as reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Acts as an escalation point for complex Deskside issues.
  • Citrix Xen Server management including administration and new application packaging.
  • Other duties as needed.

Technical Skills & Competencies

• Experience with the Microsoft SCCM/MECM ecosystem
• Experience with Windows 10 and the modern Windows 10 management life cycle
  • Global images with multiple language packs
  • Deploying yearly Windows 10 OS updates to ensure the global fleet stays on supported versions.
  • Testing OS and applications for Global deployments with location specific localization settings
  • Experience with the Microsoft 365 Suite including Office and 365 Cloud applications
  • Experience with modern MacOS management
  • Experience with application packaging and deployment
  • Experience with Windows, Microsoft, and 3rd party application patching
  • Thorough understanding of globalized workflows and teams and data reporting requirements
  • Scripting experience with PowerShell and other common Scripting languages
  • Experience with managing VDI environments
  • Experience with Citrix Xen Server - Management & Configuration
  • Experience with AppV packaging for Citrix/Windows
